| My girls ages 8 and 10 love to go to sleep listening to these. All of the Odyssey CD's have been good, but the Bible Eyewitness has had an incredible impact on them. My 8 year old has learned so many Bible stories that when we pick up the children's Bible to read, most of the time she interupts at the beginning of the reading and says "I know this story, this is what will happen" and proceeds to tell me the whole story. I have just been amazed. Wonderfully animated voices and easy to follow yet detailed stories keep her begging for one each night. We have had the Odyssey series in general for years now. They still love them and these CD's are part of their bedtime ritual. However, my eight year old just started listening to this particular set of the Bible Eyewitness and already has learned so much. You simply cannot go wrong with this set for ages six and up. A story or two may have something that because it is dramatized so well, can be a bit scary for my younger daughter so I would say ages six and up. This is only so in a couple stories. In summary, all of the Adventures in Odyssey series' are great but the Bible Eyewitness has really proved to be a teaching tool as well. If you want your kids to really know their Bible stories and to be entertained, this is the series for you! | My children (currently ages 5 and 2) love Adventures in Odyssey and this is a great set to have. While there may be some little bits in the stories that are not entirely biblical, for the most part these are very informative and fun. The stories have even pointed out things to me - parts of stories that I may have not noticed before. This is such a great deal for a good set containing many hours of stories, all in the fun style of Adventures in Odyssey. Although at 5 and 2 my children don't necessarily grasp everything, they do enjoy the stories and do get some out of it (especially the 5 year old). | These CDs made a recent 6-hour drive FLY by, for both my kids and me! Talk about bringing the Bible to life -- these do the trick. There are a couple of scary/intense stories that might be better for older children.
