Item description for The Last Battle (Chronicles Of Narnia #7) by C. S. Lewis...

Overview
When evil comes to Narnia, Jill and Eustace help fight the great last battle and Aslan leads his people to a glorious new paradise.

Publishers Description
The conclusion of the saga that began with The Magician's Nephew… Narnia … where dwarfs are loyal and tough and strong -- or are they? … where you must say good-bye … and where the adventure begins. The Unicorn says that humans are brought to Narnia when Narnia is stirred and upset. And Narnia is in trouble now. A false Aslan roams the land. Narnia's only hope is that Eustace and Jill, old friends to Narnia, will be able to find the true Aslan and restore peace to the land. Their task is a difficult one because, as the Centaur says, 'The stars never lie, but Men and Beasts do.' Who is the real Aslan and who is the imposter? Enter this enchanted world countless times in The Chronicles of Narnia.

Reviews - What do customers think about The Last Battle ?

my review  Mar 15, 2007
The book "The last battle" by C.S. Lewis is the last book in the Chronicles of Narnia. The main characters are Jewel a unicorn, King Tirian, Jill, Eustace, Puzzel the donkey and shift the ape. The story takes place in the mystical land of Narina. Narina is another world, different then ours with mystical talking beast. It is a very wooded land with kings and queens.
Shift and Puzzel find a lion skin that has floated down a waterfall. Shift wants Puzzel to wear the skin and pretend to be Aslan, the great lion. Puzzel dosn't want to do this because he thinks that Aslan would not like it. Shift gets his way and they lie to all the other beast. They tell them he is Aslan and that he is angry at them and they must cut down talking trees and give them to the Calormenes. The Calormenes are using Puzzel and Shift to try to take over Narnia. King Tirian and Jewel find out about the plot and with the talking beast that are on their side, they fight the Calormenes.
My favorite part of the book is when you find out that there are two Narinas, a real one and a copy. I had mixed emotions at the end of the book. I was sad because Narina is being destroyed but the real one sounded so nice. I would recommend this book to kids and grown ups alike, but first you need to read the six books that come before this one.

The Last Battle Summary  Mar 8, 2007
The book the last battle, was a very good book. With the characters of King Tritan, puzzle, and jill pole. the ending ended up that those characters were not in the real narnia. they were in a shadow or a copy of the real narnia. the calormences belived in a god named Tash. A fake Aslan joined him and together they were called Tashlan. It was a very proper book.

The Last Battle  Feb 7, 2007
The Last Battle by C.S. Lewis is a great book. It is a great way to end the series. Two new characters enter the crazy events of this book as King Tirian is in a bit of trouble.
A false Aslan has entered Narnia and has tried to become one with another god called Tash. Together they are called Tashlan. This ape calles himself the speaker of Aslan and has captured King Tirian and tied him up to a tree. Narnian friends try to help him but it's no use. Tarian cries out for help, asking for Aslan to come or the helpers from beyond the world. After a second or two, two children were at his aid. Together they help find out if the ape is really a speaker of Aslan, make new friends, and try to save Narnia from its end. Will darkness fall on Narnia?
If you like Narnia books I would recommend The Horse and His Boy, The Silver Chair, The Lion the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I am a seventh grader who loves to play sports.

Chronicles of Narnia book 7  Dec 22, 2006
Hello! The book I read was Chronicles of Narnia book 7 by C.S Lewis. It is a great book! I suggest that if you're good at reading, you should be able to start this book in 4th grade. However you should start book 1 first. It is about Narnia coming to end. However, the characters are different. They are actually related to the character in the other books! Oh, I almost forgot my opinion on the book. I'm definitely going to say 4 stars because the vocabulary is a bit hard sometimes. Yet, when you read this your imagination will grow, and grow, and grow! You'll enjoy this book!
