| Dr. Eggerichs has a great idea incorporating respect into your marriage. He writes as if you've already read a lot of books on love, and harps on the wife a lot. If you can get past the fairly strict gender rolls he ascribes to and read the book for the overall concept of respecting your partner, then this will be a great help for your marriage. Love and Respect encourages both actions and words to communicate the real message between husband and wife. Excellent advice; well narrated; thought provoking.We listened to it together; discussed areas that applied to us and gained insight into the WHY we-react-as-we-do .
