Reviews - What do customers think about Buying & Selling The Souls Of Our Children?

Right...  Nov 14, 2003
Sort of sad when an author is nonsensically threatened by a succesful toy franchise, don't you think?

Anything popular with children seems to be automatically labled as 'evil' nowadays by these types.

Ignore this book completey, not worth your or anybody's time.

OH PLEASE:(  May 21, 2003
Pokemon is not bad I'm telling you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People
say this book is good. I don't think so.........................
If I could choose I would give 0 and I mean 0 stars... Do not by this book. Pokemon are never bad and going to live.

:\  Feb 10, 2003
If it were up to me, I wouldn't have given it a star at all. Where is there evil in Pokemon? Can someone tell me?

Each episode of the television show has a message, Ash has a dream to strive to be the best in what he loves to do. That's a positive message if I've ever heard one.

Take for instance, this one episode which showed that everybody in the "pokemon" universe were being watched by the three legendary Pokemon for when humans and Pokemon. Humans and Animals, work and co-exist as one, if that isn't a good thing or a positive message, then I don't know what is.

You tell us to open our eyes ... well open yours.

( Little edit: LILO AND STITCH?! ... Geez. You people. Attack something that deserves it. )

Pokemon is not alone. Stich, is not of God either  Feb 4, 2003
For everyone who has a child, you must constantly be aware of the images and ideologies that surround your children. TO say that Pokemon is evil may sound crazy, but how many people would let their child watch a horror movie at age three? For those who won't they do allow their child to watch a Chinese demi god who speaks the language of demons.

God fearing people do not create these shows, nor own the broadcast companies that air them. Their creators can be regualr people, but the themes of the shows can still be dark and abominable. If Pokemon is evil, then putting a cursed idol on the pajamas of your child, or as underwear, toothpaste, or pillow case, is just about as brilliant as deception can be.

Parents everywhere need to realize that demons exist. Your child knows they exist. And telling them that a friendly invisible being is not out to hurt them is a dangerous illusion that TV creates. We all remember the fear of childhood and the monsters. They are not figments.

To all the reveiwers who are so angry and foolish in their reply, do some research and educate your blind opinion. My information comes first hand from employees within Disney, and Nickelodeon. You'd be surprised what they are aware of, that you are not!

This book looks like another Pokemon hater  Aug 3, 2002
I look for Pokemon books and this is what I find? Puh-lease! I am a Pokemon fan but I am also a Christ following Christian and this looks like another book to tell parents that Pokemon is evil. Balogna. And for those of you who like this book, get a life and don't waste your money on this garbage. I am going to say something to all Pokemon fans and Christians. Pokemon is NOT evil. It is a friendly game that teaches kids that violence, stealing, and harmful tricks are very bad things. It also teaches kids that friendship and loyalty are important. The writer of this book is entitled to his or her own opinion but I don't believe a word of it. In other words, If you do not own this book, DON'T GET IT! If you do own it, throw it away.
