Clean, refreshing music Jun 2, 2010
Greetings,
I ran across this CD by watching Creflo Dollar. I know, televangelism is perhaps an unconventional way to discover music. However, since I epitomize music lover-hood, I get music wherever I can find it. One day when his show was closing, the spot for this CD came on. I won't lie, I took immediate notice because of his look. He's a clean cut, attractive guy. However, when I heard him play, that was confirmed my interest. His music is as clean as his look. The tunes were simple and airy. Some of the names of the songs describe the feel of this effort, "Summer Breeze," "Rendevous," "Ocean Nights," and "Groove Food."
Perfect to put on from beginning to end for travel, enjoyment, or relaxation. The first time I listened all the way through, I fell into a comfortable and restful slumber. Maybe that's the spirit of the Lord on his project. :)
Be blessed!

A pleasant surprise! I thought that the album would be Christian music with a jazzy vibe. But this seems to be both - a little jazz, but you can still feel the Spirit leading his interpretations. I really like it!
Althea's therapy music May 14, 2010
I can't go anywhere in my car without listening to this CD. It's one of the best healthy Jazz CD's I have ever listen to and liked the entire music on the CD. The title of the CD speaks for itself, Love Life Soul.
SmoothJazz.com Review Apr 3, 2010
It's really hard to believe that this is Jeff's debut studio album. He shows such musical taste and maturity that usually only comes after many years of toil in the recording studio. A resident of Atlanta, GA, Jeff was educated classically at Berklee in Boston. Combining Gospel, Soul, R&B and deep Jazz in his psyche this recording really is a serious contender. Featuring highly complex arrangements, righteous rhythms and gracious grooves all topped by Jeff's freewheeling saxophone. LIFE LOVE SOUL really sets your spirit free from listen one. The debut single "Paradise" is unsurprisingly a winner at radio and all eleven tracks exude a confidence that only someone this talented and spiritually aware could warrant. Highlights include the beautiful "Ocean Nights," the hard driving "Sapphire" and the remarkably soulful "Groove Food." An extraordinary debut! ~STEWART COXHEAD
