 | Another great read from Kingsbury! Dec 23, 2009 |
I enjoy reading Karen Kingsbury books very much. Her Above the Line series is fabulous and I can hardly wait for number 3 to come out! Even though you can read this newest series without reading the Redemption, Sunrise & Firstborn Series, it would be helpful to read those series first as some of the characters in this newest series are first introduced in earlier books. Besides, she is a great author so reading her other books will totally be a blessing to you!

| i couldnt put this book down and now im on to book 2 cant wait | | | | Beginning of another great series... Nov 11, 2009 |
In this book, we meet two Christian film makers who want to make an inspiring film in the genre of the Kendrick Brothers movies. But it seems like everything that can go wrong, does go wrong, severely testing their faith. (If I were giving them advice, I'd say they should have hired true Christian actors for the leading roles.) Karen Kingsbury also brings back some favorite characters from the Baxter series in a secondary plot line. Is Bailey going to end up with Tim or Cody? She loves them both, and they both love her, so she's in a bit of a predicament. Also, Cody, and Bailey's roommate, Andi, seem to be starting a relationship. "Take One" has a satisfying ending, but it also leaves a number of loose ends hanging, so you'll be looking forward to "Take Two." | | | | Fantastic Nov 5, 2009 |
| Anyone who has read Karen Kingsbury know what a great author she is...her books still bring cover price at the closest used book store. This book is no exception. Characters struggle with finances, family and faith - and learn lessons on the way. | | | | take one Oct 15, 2009 |
