Reviews - What do customers think about Left Behind/The Kids V01-Vanishing?

Left Behind Rocks  Mar 5, 2007
Have you ever read something that immediately hooks you when you read the first sentence? If you have not, then you need to read this book.It will hypnotize you to read more!
Mostly the book is about how to accept Christ and go to heaven. Four kids face the last days on Earth. There are twenty-four books in this series. The main characters in this book are Lionel,Judd,Vicki and Ryan. Right now in book #4,Lionels Uncle just died. Now all the kids are banding together to arrest the man who killed Lionels Uncle.
I think the authors purpose was to tell people that you need to always know andf love Christ so you do not get Left Behind.

I really like it and I think anybody would like it.

Remember! If you want to learn more about God,then you need to read this book!

Left behind the vanishing  Oct 31, 2006
Have you ever heard of Jerry B. Jenkins writer of the Left Behind series? In book one there are three parts. Part one talks about the four main characters, Judd, Vicki, Lionel and Ryan, but I'll talk about that later. Part two, The Eve of Destruction, is a short part about the destruction. Part three, The Morning After, is the saddest part in the book.
Now, the characters. Judd, is about 18 everyone ones calls him little Judd because his fathers name is Judd, and his family doesn't give him respect. Vicki is the bad girl the rule breaker or let's just says she is the rebel. Lionel is the liar. Ryan, the skeptic he believes in everything that is the opposite of the right thing. I would recommend this 10+ because it is a good kids book.

Left Behind: The Series  Oct 26, 2006
I am on book 17 of the left behind series. This book is mainly about the rapture but those who don't neccesarily believe in this will still really like this book. There is a lot of referral to scripture and the books mainly continue till the end of the world. I rate this book five stars!!!

Why continue to be deceived...  Jun 26, 2006
Tim LaHaye, Jerry Jenkins, and others in the Pre-Trib circle, such as Ed Hindson, Tommy Ice, Chuck Missler, etc., continue to put forth the same deceptions that Hal Lindsey popularized decades ago. The notion of a pre-tribulation rapture is foreign to scripture, it is foreign to the teachings of the early Church, and it is grooming the Church for destruction through ignorance and lack of preparation for what is really coming. These men are novices and not prophecy "experts" or "scholars" by any stretch of the imagination; they are those who tickle the ears of gullible Christians. Why continue to be deceived? Tim Cohen, in his excellent book, "The AntiChrist and a Cup of Tea," provides biblically sound and testable evidence to show that the coming AntiChrist is known NOW. Not only that, the same author (Tim Cohen) has now put out the strongest presentation on the whole issue of the rapture EVER offered to the saints of God in Christ: "The REAL Rapture". If you really want to know the truth about the timing of the coming rapture, then you need to hear Tim Cohen's "The REAL Rapture" (based on a volume in his forthcoming "Messiah, History, and the Tribulation Period" series (see Prophecy House's web site, prophecyhouse dot com, for details on these items).

A "yes mistress" approach to accepting Christ  Jun 3, 2006
Aside from being horribly written, the Left Behind Kids series stops at nothing to frighten children into accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, because you certainly don't want to be here when the Rapture happens!
The story alternates between four children, all of whom refused to accept Christ for some reason or another, and were therefore left behind when the Rapture occurred. Two were left all alone, one was left with his druggie uncle, and one survived along with his parents only to lose them in improbable and devestating accidents just afterward (a plane crash and a gas explosion which blew his mother to Kingdom Come- or Hell, since she was unsaved- but did not mar her cell phone or photo ID). All of the children are left alone in a macabre and changed world, and have to seek the truth from other people who weren't Saved either. The purpose of the book is to scare children and young adults into accepting Christ or face being Left Behind when Christ beams up his faithful.
