| I would just like to share that before I even began to read these Left Behind books, I went to a bible study and we did several studies on Revelation and covered all the judgments, seals, angels, trumpets, horsemen, etc. and this is actually extremely close to the Bible. Someone else on here made the comment that they're trying to take visions and apply them literally. Although I agree it might send a bad message that even if you don't believe when the rapture happens that you can still be saved, these books are excellent and Nicolae is my favorite thus far (no I haven't finished them all). The thing is though, do you want to be here when all that's going on? I wouldn't think so... Read the books, do some research in the Bible if you need to and enjoy. This isn't EXACTLY how it's all going to happen but these two authors have done a great job at trying to make a good story out of it and still stay true to the Bible. | | | | Great Book Dec 29, 2006 |

| Anything you purchase in the Left Behind Series is an excellent read. These books are great and very close to the Bible. I have the entire set. this site is a great shopping site and they ship fast. I would recommend these to any Christian wanting to know about what to expect during the Return of Christ! Clearly the tens of millions of fouls who read this racist crap fail to see it for exactly what is; an endorsement of Ethnic cleansing. If the tables were turned and a Jew, or a Muslim wrote a series in which anyone who disagreed with Judaism, or Islam was BRUTALLY MURDERED than the same fundamentalists idiots who take such disgusting pleasure out of this garbage would go simply ape s**t. | This book is so flawed in every which way, it is hard to know where to begin. First of all, we are living in the end times, and when Jesus comes, that's all she wrote, folks. There's no seven years, no Christians being zapped up, etc. This is our Second Chance on Earth. No tribulation. This book takes figurative visions and tries to apply it literally, and does it poorly. Reading this book made me think that if this was true, then what's the point of trying to be a Christian. Why not just live your life the way you want to, and then when people zap out of thin air, change your life. It's ridiculous and sends the wrong message. Plus, the writing is for second graders with no redeeming characteristics to it. But I really don't think the author's care at this point (seeing how many millions they've made printing lies). My recommendation is to read the bible instead of this series; then you'll get truth and the bible is probably shorter (and much better writing).
