I will not lash out against anyone, and I will not use specific names of individuals or organizations that replace the search for truth with a situationist relativism based on vainglorious, ostentatious egotism. That said, let me merely point out that the absence of necessary historiographical context makes Jesus of Nathareth's solutions extremely difficult to accept. First off, it doesn't do us much good to become angry and wave our arms and shout about the evils of Jesus's morals in general terms. If we want other people to agree with us and join forces with us, then we must provide a trenchant analysis of Jesus's codices. The key point here is that Jesus's older analects were deluded enough. His latest ones are undoubtedly beyond the pale. Jesus's peuplade appears to be growing in number. I indisputably pray that this is analogous to the flare-up of a candle just before extinction yet I keep reminding myself that Jesus has found a way to avoid compliance with government regulations, circumvent any further litigation, and violate his pledge not to condemn innocent people to death -- all by trumping up a phony emergency. His desire to control your bank account, your employment, your personal safety, and your mind is the chief sign that he's a slaphappy caitiff. (The second sign is that Jesus feels obliged to force me to undergo "treatment" to cure my "problem".) Perhaps I'm reading too much into Jesus's ravings, but they don't seem to serve any purpose other than to destroy the natural beauty of our parks and forests. Jesus's précis are Pyrrhonism cloaked in the rhetoric of truculent, noxious feudalism. That's pretty transparent. What's not so transparent is the answer to the following question: Does Jesus's oversized ego demand that he condone illegal activities? A clue might be that every time he tries, Jesus gets increasingly successful in his attempts to have a serious destabilizing effect on our institutions. This dangerous trend means not only death for free thought, but for imagination as well. Jesus's eccentricity is surpassed only by his vanity. And his vanity is surpassed only by his empty theorizing. (Remember his theory that the cure for evil is more evil?) Jesus of Nathareth has an agenda -- a political, social, and cultural agenda. And that's all I have to say.

This is by far the best fiction book I have ever read. You are hooked by the individuals in this story. Even thought this is pure Fiction the writing is so good some people atualt believe this stuff happened. I put this right up there with the works of Charles Dickens, and George Orwell. Again great Fiction work probably thebest of all time.

Sometimes you have to know when to hold your tongue. Really. Is the Bible truly worth critiquing as strongly as it is being critiqued by some self-righteous atheists calling themselves freethinkers? (As though they truly were great thinkers, instead of immature and insecure name-callers with no sound arguments against the Bible or even Christianity.) Don't think I'm saying that the Bible isn't worth anything, it is, it is. But to all those who pompously declare their disbelief and, worse, tear down every word of Christian reviews: Why? Why do you bother? What's the point you are trying to make? It's better for your reputation, for the site, for the world as a whole if instead of insult matches there could be true debate and civil arguing. And what if you're wrong? What if the Bible really is the Word of the Most High God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth? What if? What if the Bible is right? Most importantly, what if you are wrong? What is so evil about the Jesus Loves You message, the Faith Hope and Love message, the Ten Commandments, even, that you feel compelled to come here to this site and abuse everyone who has hope, and who reviews honestly and kindly? You say Christians shove our doctrines down your throats: what about you? You shove your weak interpretations of science, your assertions that the first cells came about by chance (an occurrence that would take over a billion "practice universes" before it would even be remotely possible that life could even happen -- cells do not come about by explosions, as houses do not come about by tornadoes in lumber mills), your cries that the Bible and Christian doctrine are unscientific though most of you have barely the slightest education in science, or, for that matter, Christian beliefs -- all of these down OUR throats. And there is one person here, at least, who is sick of it. If you can't agree, at least respect; if you can't believe, at least be happy for those who do. There is nothing wrong with us, we are not mad or deluded or sick. We are just normal people who have understood and accepted the most glorious thing in the universe or out of it: the truth that God Most High descended from Heaven to the earth, was killed for us, and rose again on the third day so that all humanity who believed in him would live eternally. This is love, and this is why a loving God would allow Hell: He does not send humans to Hell. Humans choose Hell when they reject Him, and He does not wish anyone to go there. But why would those who rejected Him in life desire to be with Him for eternity?

If you are looking for a quality King James Version of the Holy Bible to buy, you need to buy this one. The text is bolded which makes it easier to read. There is even a section at the beginning of the book that has a daily Bible reading guide that tells you which chapters of the Bible to read each day of the year. I'm so glad I bought it.
