Reviews - What do customers think about 30 Days To Taming Your Tongue?
 | This "little" book is a God-Send! Feb 14, 2008 |
Although this is a tiny sized book, don't let the size fool you! It is filled with godly wisdom, which is lovingly yet uncompromisingly share with us by the author.
No matter how old you are in the Lord...PLEASE read this little book, as I KNOW God will use it to bless your life and the lives of everyone you come into contact with after reading it!
I also purchased the workbook that accompanies this book and I'm well pleased with the workbok as well!

As I read each daily, it was something for me to think about and apply in my life every day. The little nuggets were so helpful and so true to life. Deborah was a blessing for sharing her everyday life stories with the world. So many of us think about writing them down but never have gotten around to actually doing it. Procrastinators, I believe, that's what we are called. And then to tell us how God would like us to control the way we say certain things, with tact, thanks. I love it, it is just so much power in such a small package. Thank you God and Thank you Deborah.
Have a Blessed New Year,

When Deborah contacted me, asking for permission to include one of my poems, "Hasty Words", in her workbook (a supplement to this book, due out in September 2007), I was shocked, yet thrilled at the request, and I eagerly complied. She even sent me an autographed copy of "30 Days To Taming Your Tongue". (Thank you so much, Deborah) I finally found the time to sit and read the book, and I must say, I was impressed. Her writing style is "user friendly" to all us sinners, and as I was reading, I realized she even had an adorable sense of humor. The way she includes her own personal experiences, and her struggles to tame her own tongue, made the book less of a "preaching at you" style, and more of just plain good advice on how to deal with "afflictions of the mouth". A truly enjoyable read and I highly recommend it to everyone...because we all have tongues that need to be tamed in one way or another. Joyce Marie Taylor-Author and Poet

| This book is truly blessing me. I am finding a little bit of myself in some of the chapters I read. This book is great for those who choose to exam themselves as an individual. Those who really want to grow and be of use to the Lord. As stated in God's word there is life and death in the power of your tongue. What you say can truly hurt others and do some serious damage. If you are not willing to grow then you will be in a state of retardation. I am showing this book to my Bible Study teacher so that we may go through this in class and possibly clear the air about ourselves and people that we may be attached to with some of these issues. | | | | taming your tongue Mar 30, 2007 |
The book was very helpful to me. In my life I have recieved criticism for excessive talking. I was interested in self improvement. I learned several valuable tips and had never heard the one that a silent tongue is just as bad as talking too much. I agree that it is not as common of a problem but a person should speak when it prevents harm. This book is an excellent reference for using the gift of speech in a christian manner.
