Reviews - What do customers think about Toddler Art?
 | Cute ideas but not visually exciting Mar 10, 2008 |
| I needed a book of ideas to keep my 20 month old toddler busy, especially during the winter months. It had some cute ideas, but was printed in black and white on grayish paper and was not visually exciting to me. Still, it gave me some good ideas but a lot of them I could have come up with on my own! | | | | A good first art book for toddlers Mar 7, 2002 |
| This book has many great ideas to keep your little one busy. The book is designed from kids 18 months to 3 years old. It includes simple art projects including how to make homemade fingerpaint, playdough and paste. The chapter are: getting started, choosing art supplies, displaying toddler art, drawing, painting, printing, collages & sticky stuff, dough & more and seasonal fun. I would have rated this book 5 stars, except that some of the art projects aren't very artist. For example "tearing box" & "wadded paper" are just encouraging your toddler to tear paper into small pieces and wad paper into balls. Although the author is careful to stress to the children that only the paper you give them is okay to tear or wad, I don't know of many kids under three that will be able to make the distinction. Another art project involves using bingo markers, which are usually permanent ink. Not the best choice for use with children under 3. | | | | Excellent resource! Mar 28, 2000 |
| An excellent resouce for nay parent desireing to spend quality time with their toddler. All of the crafts are easy and inexpensive. They even show you how to make your own play dough. This is definantly a must have for any stay at home mom needing to keep little minds and hands busy! | | | Write your own review about Toddler Art
